In 1991 Ray Shackelford was visiting Oregon from Gun Barrel City, Texas.
Needing an adventure, he headed out to the Oregon Coast.
Later that evening Ray found himself sitting at the bar in the River Sea Inn in Wheeler, Oregon.
That fateful night Oregon wine history was made.
